My name is Charlotte Koopman, born in 1975 in Holland. I live in Antwerpen, Belgium, now. I am a drawer. I draw mainly with charcoal, pencil and oil-pastel. When I work with oil-pastel I use a layer of white oil-pastel as a base, I draw on that with colured oil-pastel and then I scratch in it with a knife.
My drawings are close to life as I remember it, precisely undefined, often food-related.
I like the works of Juri Norshtine, George Herriman, Ksenia Galiaeva. I like to take photographs. I like to be with you in the train. I like it when we see funny people. I like the way you talk to cats. I like your sandwich.
