Born 1969 in Norrköping, lives and works in Stockholm
I usually work with photography in different ways. My work deals with questions of how we perceive reality.
In my photographs from 2000 (no 3,4) I express the confusion which sometimes occur between dream and physical reality. The person in the photographs are cut out of photocopies in a real life-size scale.
In "Attention towards Breathing" (no 1,2) I´m inspired by experiences of zen-meditation. The everyday life and ordinary objects draw my attention. The pictures are mounted on black-painted and formed styrofoam and hangs from the ceiling. The pictures slowly turns by the current of air made when the visitors walk through the room.
I also work both as organizer and participant of a groupshow. The exhibition will open first time in September 2005 in an art-space inside of Infra Business
Center, Upplands-Väsby, north of Stockholm.
